This has become a recent obsession of mine for this summer at home. Whether I am at the park, by the pool, or having a night in, this drink is beautiful to pair with my favorite earrings. Dressing up and creating this drink has definitely been giving me a sense of normality while stuck at home. And it has become a family favorite after our first picnic this summer. For the adults, a touch of alcohol can be used to make a Berry Spiked Lemonade, while the kids can enjoy this sweet lemonade.
The summer is the best time to support locally sourced fruit and cheeses, visit a farmers market to pick up summer favorites! I love to go to my local farmers' market and pick up fresh strawberries, raspberries, and lemons. They always seem to have the best selection of fruit and cheeses. As well I pick up a bouquet of sunflowers to go into my picnic basket.
It will be a picture opportunity you won’t want to miss!
The drink goes perfectly with a summery fruit salad and a charcuterie board. Pull out a picnic blanket for a picnic picture in central park. As you are running out of the house don’t forget a mask!

Now onto making this recipe, it is extremely simple to make and takes, at most, fifteen minutes to prepare. If you’re anything like me and cooking is a challenge, this is the recipe for you. Impress all your friends and family with a delicious lemonade recipe. I usually don’t grab raspberries as my first choice for fruit but, this drink changed the game for me. Of course, this drink is customizable, add in more of your favorite berries, or substitute one for your favorite berry.
Here’s what you’ll need:
6 lemons (1 ¼ cups)
5 cups of water
1 cup of raspberries
1 cup of strawberries
1 cup of sugar
Instructions
- Cut and squeeze 6 lemons into a pitcher, making sure to remove the seeds.
- Add in the five cups of water into the pitcher
- Mix a cup of sugar into the water and lemon juice mixture
- Wash and cut the berries-- puree the berries and pour into the mixture
Cut and juice 6 lemons, if you don’t like pulp go ahead and strain it into the pitcher.
Add five cups of warm water to the lemon juice, this will ensure all the sugar is dissolved. You don’t have to use warm water but I do prefer it.
Next add in your cup of sugar, if you prefer your lemonade tart add sugar to taste.
Wash and cut up the strawberries into quarters. Put the raspberries and strawberries in a bowl to mash them up. Personally, I like to purée them to get a less chunky add-in. Strain the purée as you add it in for a seedless drink. Then chill for an hour.
Pour into a mason jar or hydro flask with ice and your perfect picnic drink is ready to serve!
For a night in, you can add a twist and make it an alcoholic beverage by adding a liquor of your choice. Then pour it into your favorite glass and add a cut strawberry to the rim. Put on Alzerina earrings and a bracelet and you're ready for a picture-perfect selfie!
